At 27, I have recently come home to Perth (Western Australia) after spending nearly four years in Canada.
I am a journalist by trade and nature. My experience, thus far, has been in the print media. As well as writing I also took my own photographs during my time in Canada. I still take some of my own photographs, but the opportunity beckons a little less.
Currently, I am the primary journalist for the Fremantle Gazette, which I love! Fremantle is a great place to work and play!
Before working at the Gazette I worked casually for the Community Newspaper Group So I got to write for a variety of weekly, or bi-weekly, community newspapers in the Perth metropolitan area. I worked in the northern, southern and eastern suburbs. It was an awesome way to get back into Perth and find out what was really going on!
Some of this site is dedicated to my old blog, from when I was traveling around Canada and the United States of America, but I am hoping to slowly mould it into something more.
That, however, may take a while.
