*BLUE*

I took these photos from on top of ‘The Bullet’ Chair. It was a really nice blue sky day. It had snowed about 20cm in the last three days… which meant there was heaps of fresh powder out on the runs! It was one of the most beautiful days I’ve had up here. I spent all day by myself just snowboarding around! I’m getting heaps better! I’ve had 12 days out now!! And most of those have been full days (7 hours or so..).

This is the chair lift that I first went on (apart from the baby chair lift in the village). I totally freaked out and cried (due to heights) the first time! Last Sunday I got on there all by myself!! FEAR CONQUERED!!! I did all the lifts that day by myself =) I was very impressed!

This is me! Incase you have forgotten! I’m all kitted up and looking kinda gnarly don’t you think? I bought a helmet when I got paid last Friday ’cause it was our last day of 25% off so I got it for about $80 which is pretty decent! I wanted to get a slightly better model but they only came in black and white! So I got this one ’cause I didn’t have blue in my snowboarding outfit! My goggles are kind of blue… but I’m gunna have to buy new ones too but that wont be for awhile ’cause I’m still broke!!!

So thats my playground! And how I spend all day Sunday and Monday, most of Tuesday and Weds! It’s fantastic

So I hope you all have a really nice Christmas! I miss you all heaps and wish I was there! My Christmas is going to be strange but exciting =)

This is our real and beautiful christmas tree! One of the chicks I live with went on a ski patrol snowmobile in the middle of the night to get it!!! They used a chain saw to cut it down <3 So cool… My boss told me I could have all the left over christmas decorations too! So now we have a tree! It’s pretty cool…

I’m pretty much working, boarding, chilling and stuff… Not a lot going on!Trying to plan out my next trip… I’m thinking I’ll go to Tofino (Vancouver Island) for the summer - maybe learn how to surf!?! How strange is that… I’m also thinking about Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper or even Kanmore! It’s all far too enticing

This is me skating!!!

So ‘Happy Valley’ finally opened! There is an ice skating rink and a tubing park! It’s kinda where the kids hang out As staff we get free rentals and tubes until Christmas (at least). So Georgie decided to go skating - she owns her own skates (how weird, right?) and wanted to laugh at me trying to skate. She took a video and made me PROMISE to put it on here - i ’m still trying ’ to work out how I do that! But we’ll get there… anyway here’s some happy snaps!

They have old man walking frames that you can use to push yourself around! I did about three laps with this and then one lap holding a mates hand, then a lap holding only ONE of G’s hands and thennnnnn I did a small lap without any hands!! Oh yeah …\

She’s a real Canadian! She has her own ice skates <3 so cute...

We went down the tubes holding each other legs - we got spun around by the lifties at the top! It was quite fun!!!
